If the English media were to be believed then the Premiership is the only decent league in the
world, the only one with any decent stadiums, fans passionate enough to fill them, and
players worth watching. Imagine their surprise if they found this wasn't the case, like
in Germany, where their
top stadiums
are comparable with Englands,
the atmosphere
inside the grounds is probably now better, and in 2005-06 they had the
highest average attendance
of any league in the world, a full 7000 more per game than the Premiership.
Crikey, what would the English media do ? Best not tell them about this page then, the shock
of it might lead them all to spontaneously explode.
