One should never underestimate the beauty of a football stadium: from the old terraced ones with the leaky-roofs to the modern day works of art, they're almost all interesting, many with great stories to tell. They've almost become the modern day equivalent of castles - when many stadiums were built in the 20th century, before the advent of high rise offices or flats, they would often be the largest construction in the town, a mighty symbol of an area's footballing passion and power, and something for the fans and players to try and defend.
