The Europa League
Manchester United's comfortable win over Ajax in the 2016-17 Europa League was, surprisingly, the first time in their illustrious history that they'd lifted the trophy. It meant that they completed the full house of trophies, Champions League/European Cup, Europa League/UEFA Cup, European Cup Winners Cup, European Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup/Intercontinental Cup, English Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, FA Charity Shield/Community Shield. Not only is it a third trophy for Jose Mourinho and his team, it's also important in that it gives them a place back in the Champions League for the 2017-18 season. With United, local rivals Manchester City and Liverpool all expecting to target more signings over the summer, it promises to be another exciting season.
