Here's a list of all the other stuff we cant find a section for and other things
we've been watching, listening, reading etc, when our minds have wandered away from the
football.
The last few months stuff includes...

The Holloways: Generator (Single) |
|
Click here to listen to it.
|
Harrisons: Blue Note (Single) |
|
Great song, even better video - the Wednesday supporting band from Sheffield's video for Blue Note is a remake of the match
scene from the film Kes with Steve Edge from Phoenix Nights as the Brian Glover-esque PE teacher.

Paris Angels: Perfume (Single) |
|
We've not heard this for about 15 years and still have the original 12 inch up in the attic somewhere. Luckily, by the miracle
tinterweb, we don't have to buy a record player but can just

The Might Boosh Series 3 (TV) |
|
No middle ground with this - it's definitely one that you either love or hate. We're in the love camp. Particularly enjoyed
Vince and Howard confronting Lance and Harold, their doppelgangers, and taking them on in a crimp-off, the
finale of which was the never tried before 4-way crimp. Genius.

Films |
The Bourne Ultimatum (DVD) |
|
Saw it on the big screen last year and it doesn't disappoint on the small screen either. Phenomenal pace from start to finish,
and what about that car chase in New York ? No wonder he was struggling to walk afterwards.

Books |
Andy Waple: Steel City Derbies |
Fine read about one of the England's most under-rated derby's. Interesting takes's on all the city's most famous clashes, from
the Blades classic 4:3 victory in 1951, to Wednesday's famous 4-0 win (dubbed the Boxing Day Massacre) in 1979 to the
FA Cup semi-final encounter in 1993.

Dylan Younger: Newcastle's Cult Heroes: The Toon's 20 Greatest Icons |
A good read and the only problem with this is it's name - it should just be the 20 Icons of Newcastle. The likes of
Milburn, MacDonald, Shearer, Keegan, Gallagher, Beardsley and Gazza are hardly cult - they're mainstream stars of football.
A list of 20 less known ones would be quite interesting too. Still worth a flick through though.
