arrow   Top 10 Christmas Football DVD Merchants
Yes, it’s that time of year again. We bring you our list of those celebrities and ex-footballers who are doing their bit to bring a bit of Christmas cheer to warm those long winter nights. Hilarity is bound to ensue when we watch Ronnie Rosenthal miss that open goal, again, Gary Sprake throwing the ball into his net, again, and Graham Taylor saying ‘Do I Not Like That’. Worth £14 of anyone’s money. Usually my mums.

AC Milan beat Boca Juniors 4-2 to become the first European team to triumph in the competition since FIFA re-branded it back in 2005. Obviously there was no sign of it on a TV screen in Britain, although rumour has it that one of the broadsheets did print the result.

Kaka, now a superstar and World player of the year, is the latest addition to our list of 'if only' transfers, as we remember the day 7 years ago when Turkish club Gaziantepspor foolishly asked Sao Paulo if they were "havin' a laff" when told of the modest transfer fee. NOVEMBER'S TIPS FOR THE FUTURE
From the International Leagues
Name: Andres Guardado
Country: Mexico
Club: Deportivo La Coruna (Spain)
Age: 21 (28-09-1986)
Position: Winger
Flag Tiny winger who first came to prominence in the 2006 World Cup when he was named in the Mexican side against Argentina and proceeded to go for the jugular, attacking like a demon with several outstanding twisting runs and dribbles. He was linked with Europe's top clubs after the tournament but his club, CF Atlas, managed to hold on to him until this summer, when he moved to Deportivo La Coruna.

From the British Leagues
Name: Michael Johnson
Country: England
Club: Man City
Age: 19 (24-02-1988)
Position: Midfielder
Flag When Sven took over at Man City in the summer and proceeded to buy half of Europe many were expecting City's line-up to be void of any British players. So imagine the surprise when City's great start to the season featured a young local lad bossing the midfield and weighing in with a couple of cracking goals. That's Michael Johnson - a fresh faced midfielder who looks like he's just left primary school but who's dynamic runs, tackling and all round ability have led to comparisons with Steven Gerrard.
