After the final matches of the Premiership season ended with Chelsea winning the title with a triumphant 8-0 annihilation of Wigan last weekend the thoughts of many football fans will be turning to the FA Cup Final. On the face of it the Final looks to be likely to be one of the most one-sided in the competitions history. For Chelsea this will be their seventh FA Cup Final in 16 years and having ensured the Premiership title in such a spectacular fashion last week they are just one step away from securing the double. The Londoners have scored over 100 goals in the Premiership campaign and have a team packed with famous players. It is a fair bet that most non-partisan fans will be thinking of putting their money on holders Chelsea being victorious on Saturday.
For the Pompey fans a trip to Wembley will be a welcome boost after the many on-field and off-field woes that have plagued the club this season. They have suffered the humiliation of becoming the first club in the history of the Premier League to go into administration, incurring a penalty deduction of nine points that effectively doomed the club to relegation. They have been through five different owners in one season and their financial troubles have been making headlines all season.
The wonder is how on earth did they managed to battle their way to the FA Cup Final this year while in the midst of such turmoil? It just goes to prove the old adage true that In the FA Cup anything can happen. Portsmouth were already struggling in the Premiership before the points deduction yet on the road to Wembley they beat the likes of Spurs, Sunderland and Birmingham.
Could Chelsea fall into the complacency trap? Will Portsmouth rise to the occasion and pull off a sensational win? Let's not forget though that Portsmouth have now succeeded in reaching the Final for the second time in three years.
The match should be a thriller and

One thing you can bet on is that if Portsmouth win on Saturday it will go down as the biggest upset that Wembley Stadium has seen in many years.
